Sweet Lemon
Our clients lovingly refer to their split-level home as the Sweet Lemon. Right from the start, they saw the potential the house had and dreamed of a complete exterior and interior transformation. The most dramatic update was relocating the front door entrance to the middle level of the house. Total game changer!
The curb appeal was further enhanced by adding a covered front porch, retaining walls with built-in planter boxes, new exterior paint and a front garage and driveway.
Upon entering the home, the first thing you notice is the open living room with a vaulted ceiling. You see straight through to the newly renovated and expanded kitchen and dining area. A double-sided fireplace was completely removed to make all this possible. We also bumped up into the attic to gain the new ceiling height. No space was overlooked at any level. Every bathroom was updated, the laundry moved upstairs, new office and studio spaces were defined, and key storage solutions were found for the pantry and closets.
The Sweet Lemon now shines in all her glory! The interior updates provide the maximum flow and function for daily living and entertaining family and friends. The exterior improvements provide easier access to the front entry and generous outdoor spaces to play, garden and simply relax on the patio or screened porch while sipping on a glass of…you guessed it, lemonade!
