About Creative Design Solutions
Heather Wojick, designer and owner of Creative Design Solutions, Inc. has practiced renovation design since 2000.
Heather’s education in the residential design field began in a high school drafting program and grew into an Associates degree (AAS) in architectural drafting. Achieving her bachelors degree of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 1997 from Winthrop University, Heather started her design career with a Charlotte residential design firm. As a supporting member of this firm for 5 years it was time to expand her goals and create her own firm. Creative Design Solutions was established January of 2001. Heather received her REGreen Certificate in 2014.
In June 2022, Heather was appointed by the Charlotte City Council to serve on the board of the Historic District Commission. Historic preservation is a life-long interest and dream of Heather’s and she’s honored to be a part of this commission for the next three years. The goal of the Historic District Commission is to safeguard the heritage of the city by preserving areas and structures that are a significant part of Charlotte’s cultural history. The board meets every month to review and approve various projects within the 7 districts deemed historical within the city of Charlotte. Heather’s proud to be among this team of experts who work hard to enrich the Charlotte community.
In 2023 Heather was elected as an Architectural Review Committee Member for a local Homeowner’s Association. This means that she is a dedicated individual within the community’s Architectural Review Committee (ARC), ensuring that the aesthetic harmony and architectural standards of the neighborhood are upheld.
As a mother and wife she finds it very rewarding to have a successful design firm that allows her to create wonderful relationships with her clients and balance her time for personal responsibilities.
