This Charlotte renovation project took the existing old world house charm and combined it with more contemporary finishes and selections to modernize and brighten the space. It started with a driveway expansion including a new parking pad for guests. The veranda was a complete overhaul with new grading, stone pavers, built in grill and beverage area, fire pit and a stunning custom copper awning. Inside, the kitchen was revitalized with a new cabinet color, countertops, tile and hardware. The dining room opening was expanded to create better flow between the areas of the home. A new wall of glass doors and windows was installed in the main living room while the fireplace got a facelift with new tile and a reclaimed barn mantle and matching shelves. Finally, a fresh coat of paint was given to each room through out the house along with new light fixtures and hardware.
